Lazy Night Garlic Pasta

A very quick pasta that is rich & creamy and so easy to do - you may want to make this several times a month.

The technique is a one pot method where you cook your pasta inside the sauce.

I think you will love the ease of this method and how good this pasta is on those nights when your tired.

This is a comforting dish of warm creamy goodness.

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. Angel Hair

2 TBL butter

1 TBL olive oil

3 cups low sodium chicken broth - (bone broth is too rich in flavor for this recipe)

3-4 garlic cloves mashed

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1/4 cup heavy cream

pinch of salt and black pepper

Directions:

In a medium sized pot heat add the olive oil. When hot add the garlic and stir for 2 minutes.

Add the butter next along with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

When the butter is melted add in the chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

Add your dry pasta right into the boiling broth.

Stir well and set the timer for 3 minutes.

As the pasta begins to cook it will absorb the broth. Try not to let the broth be completely absorbed. You need some for the sauce.

Add next the Parmesan cheese and stir the pasta until the cheese is fully incorporated.

Finish by adding in the heavy cream and heat for 30 seconds.

Serve with more black pepper and Parmesan as you desire.

ENJOY!
