Why I do not allow Google Ads on my site.

If your a regular visitor to my Facebook page or my website/blog you have probably noticed that I do not run a slew of Google Ads or have product sponsors. There is a simple reason for this. I find many food blogger sites today to be obnoxious to the point of being unreadable as to pop up ads and videos.

Distractions to the eye does not allow enjoyment for the reader. And I hope that those who visit my website enjoy reading my recipes knowing that they will not be hit with constant ads.

The trend today is that many food bloggers get into blogging so that they can monetize their recipes. I do not believe in that as a core strategy. Food in my world equals joy and the sharing of my recipes is something I really love. I am also lucky in that the business side of food blogging in not my goal. For the business side - I have my two cookbooks Glorious Pasta & Risotto and Easy Rustic Fruit Desserts available via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.
