Gnocchi in Garlic Butter

I love Gnocchi but the thought of making it from scratch makes me wilt. It is to me a very involved process.


Finding prepared shelf stable Gnocchi in my local store is not easy, but I read that it can be found online. I ordered a 4 pack of prepared Gnocchi made by Barilla from Amazon and tried it out last night.

So simple to do and it was really good.


Here is how I made it.


1 pack of Gnocchi boiled in salted water for 3 minutes.


I drained and added the Gnocchi to 2 tablespoons of melted butter that I had first infused with 2 garlic cloves that I sliced very thin and lightly toasted until the garlic was fragrant and golden brown. I added a pinch of salt and black pepper, the Gnocchi & a handful of grated Parmesan... and allowed everything to toast for one full minute.


I finished with fresh chives. It was really awesome.
