Chicken Marsala w/Buttered Noodles

Chicken Marsala is a popular dish in Italy. Marsala wine originates from Sicily.
You will see it sometimes referred to as an Italian scaloppina dish.
Ingredients:
1 package egg noodle
1 tbsp. olive oil
4 thin chicken breasts, pounded lightly if needed
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup prosciutto
1/2 cup cremini or porcini mushrooms
1/4 cup Marsala wine
3/4 cup chicken stock
4 tbsp. butter
salt and freshly cracked pepper
fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
Prepare the pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water so that it is done when the sauce is ready. Drain the pasta and add 2 tablespoons of butter as well salt and pepper and stir in.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
Dredge the chicken in flour and shake off the excess.
Add the chicken into the skillet and brown for approximately 3 minutes on each side.
Remove the chicken when done and set aside.
Add the prosciutto into the skillet and saute for no more than one minute. Remove the prosciutto and add to the chicken.
Add the mushrooms into the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add the Marsala into the skillet with the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Next add the chicken stock and bring the liquid to a simmer. Stir in 2 tbsp. butter and add the chicken and prosciutto to the sauce.
Simmer the chicken and sauce for 2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
Serve the chicken alongside the buttered noodles and top with fresh chopped parsley.
